Alexandria Couch is a visual artist documenting her battle between assimilation and self-discovery. Her work utilizes both traditional and found materials to emphasize the unearthing of identity through exploration. Alexandria is a recent graduate of the University of Akron where she got her BFAs in printmaking and painting and is based in Akron, OH. She currently works at and maintains a studio at the Summit Artspace.
Lyric Fox is a genre-defying solo artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. She debuted in the music world with her eerily beautiful single, Weeping Willow. Her sound stems from a childhood full of jazz, r&b, and alternative music influences.
Lyric was born in Chicago, IL in 1999, and grew up in Pittsburg, CA where she learned how to play several instruments and developed her natural ear for music. She later went on to study Music Business and Jazz Voice at Howard University where she gained her affinity for jazz music and learned to incorporate those sounds in her own musical style and journey.
In her debut EP, Ouch! Life Is Beautiful released in February 2021, she experiments with vintage sounds and melancholy piano riffs paired up her soulful voice to capture the essence of the spectrum of emotions that life offers.
